Terms of Service

Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Bookanizer Platform ("the Platform"), owned and operated by Western Innovation Technology Limited ("the Company," "we," "us," or "our").

By accessing, registering, or using the Platform, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

User Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old or possess legal capacity to enter into binding agreements.
• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to maintain and update such information as required.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and all activities under your account.

Platform Description

Bookanizer is an online marketplace that enables users ("Clients") to discover, book, and manage beauty services offered by independent vendors ("Stylists" or "Salons").

The Company provides the booking and payment infrastructure only and does not directly provide beauty services.

Bookings & Services

• All bookings must be made through the Platform.
• A booking is confirmed only after payment (where applicable) and receipt of a confirmation message or email.
• Vendors are responsible for providing accurate service descriptions, pricing, and availability.
• The Platform reserves the right to decline, reschedule, or cancel any booking due to system errors, vendor unavailability, or policy violations.

Vendor Responsibilities

• Vendors must hold all necessary business registrations (e.g., CAC) and all necessary professional/trade licences/certifications and comply with local laws and hygiene standards.
• Vendors agree to maintain accurate profiles, service prices, and schedules.
• Vendors are solely responsible for the quality, safety, and delivery of their services.
• Vendors agree not to transact outside the Platform for bookings made through Bookanizer.

Payments

• Payments are processed securely through our approved payment partners.
• Users may pay using cards, mobile money, or wallet balance as made available on the Platform.
• All prices are displayed in Naira (₦) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• Vendors receive payouts to their verified bank accounts after service completion. Payouts are typically processed within 48 hours of service completion, subject to any applicable service fees or processing timelines.

Cancellations & Refunds

• Users may cancel bookings in line with our Refund Policy.
• Vendors must notify clients in advance if they need to reschedule or cancel.
• Refunds are processed to the original payment method within the stated timeframe.
• No-shows or late cancellations (outside the stated window) may result in forfeiture of fees.

Platform Rights

• We may update, suspend, or discontinue any feature, content, or service without prior notice.
• All intellectual property — including design, software, trademarks, logos, and databases — remains the property of Western Innovation Technology Limited.
• We reserve the right to remove any content, review, or vendor listing that violates these Terms or our community standards.

Limitation of Liability

• Bookanizer acts solely as a booking intermediary and is not liable for any injury, damage, loss, or dissatisfaction arising from services provided by vendors.
• Our total liability for any claim related to the Platform shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific transaction in question.
• We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including data loss, missed appointments, or business interruption.

Dispute Resolution

• Users and vendors agree to first attempt amicable resolution of any dispute via our support channel.
• If unresolved, disputes may be referred to arbitration in Lagos, Nigeria, under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act.
• Each party shall bear its own costs unless otherwise decided by the arbitrator.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
